From large-scale to valuable and small-scale.
In collaboration with Nature Reserves, the municipality of Heerlen and the Limburg Province, we have invested in green to give nature a chance to flourish again. New walk paths on old routes, high hanging fruit, sunken roads, more woods, an estate bee keeper, the falconer and a herd of sheep. These are just a few of the things we have been able to accomplish in recent years.
‘Experience nature in the city’ is the theme. Our guests can take relaxing walks, bicycle rides and enjoy the exceptional nature and culture, because culture and nature have been going hand in hand for centuries on the TerWorm estate with the castle and the charming gardens as its magnificent centrepiece.
