Castle TerWorm is located on the beautiful TerWorm estate. The protected nature reserve with a size of 200 hectares offers various possibilities for in and relaxation.

In addition, the Estate is suitable for running. There are several walking routes/trim routes on paved paths. The routes are about 4 to 7 km long. If you combine both routes, you have a trim route of no less than 11 km and all directly in "our backyard".
In cooperation with Natuurmonumenten, the municipality of Heerlen and the province of Limburg, we invest in greenery and give nature a fair chance again by means of new footpaths on old tracks, high fruit trees, hollow roads, more woods, an estate beekeeper, the falconer and a flock of sheep.
Our guests can walk, cycle and enjoy special nature and culture, because for centuries, culture and nature have gone hand in hand on TerWorm estate. With the castle and the beautiful gardens as its magnificent centrepiece.
The estate is home to the 14th-century Terworm Castle. The magnificent rococo-style garden envelops the castle in a fairytale atmosphere.
