We are proud to announce that our beautiful castle and farm house is undergoing an impressive transformation. Over the course of eighteen months, we will be working with loving care and attention to renovate and update the 40 unique hotel rooms, spread across the castle and farm house. At Hotel Kasteel Terworm, we strive for quality. That is why we are taking our time with this renovation to keep inconvenience to a minimum. What to expect?

What to expect?

The upcoming renovation may undoubtedly cause some inconvenience, but we aim to keep this to a minimum. Work will take place mainly from Monday to Friday, during the morning and afternoon, meaning that most construction nuisance may occur at these times. Fortunately, there will be no work on weekends, which will significantly minimise noise pollution.

It is important to note that the refurbishment will be carried out in several phases. This will limit the inconvenience to specific parts of the castle or farm house. In the schedule below you can see when each phase will take place, so that you are well informed about what to expect. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience during this renewal phase

Step by step, the different phases

  • Fase 1 & 2
    January till May 2024

    In this phase, we focus on the renovation of ten rooms on the first and second floors of the castle. The ground floor and basement with the restaurant lounges, reception and auberge will remain open as usual for our guests. Although we aim for minimal inconvenience, there may be some noise disturbance during the day on Monday to Friday.

  • Fase 3 to 7
    May 2024 till November 2025

    In these phases of our renovation, the work focuses on the five different parts in the farm house around the courtyard. The 30 rooms in this part will be renovated in groups of 6 to 8 rooms, so each time a small number of rooms together in one particular block will be out of use for renovation. During this period, there may be some noise nuisance on Mondays to Fridays. It is important to note that no work will take place in the castle during this phase, and all facilities such as the restaurant, reception and other facilities will be open as usual.
